Michael Ray Hates Folding Laundry

Michael Ray is trying to get back into the routine of being a touring musician. He describes it as being "home for a day, doing laundry, repacking, and leaving again," and he is not complaining.

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, Michael airs his dirty laundry woes saying, "He's a man on a mission here!"

Nobody likes doing laundry, and if they do, they have one heck of a booming business. Michael has a theory, though. Maybe it isn't the laundry that we actually hate?

"You know what's funny? If you think about it, it's not the laundry. It's not like we are back in the day, like old school, like really just shoving it with a big wooden shovel to get it all in there. We literally just have machines," laughs the country star. "It's the beginning and the end that we hate."

"As men, we've completely gone away from the first. We are like, "That won't bleed over too bad." You know? Laughs Michael. We will just throw that in there.

"It's the folding that we hate. I mean, we have machines, it's the easiest it's ever been, and we are just like, "NOOO! I'll hire anyone to come to do it!"

Michael and Cody just have one hang-up when it comes to their loathing dirty linens. Neither of them wants someone else touching their underwear.

"Don't touch that pile. I will get that pile," laughs the star.

Michael is set to release his highly-anticipated new EP, 'Higher Education,' on August 27. The seven-track collection will feature collaborations with Kid Rock, Lee Brice, and more.
