Bobby Bones has lots of cool stories with celebrities, but he doesn't like to be that guy who name drops.
On the rare occasion, Bones will share stories because he likes being the guy who isn't on the inside, but he can infiltrate and come back to share stories. Today (November 20th), Bones was sharing a news story about Gwen Stefani and how she never heard of her husband Blake Shelton before they met on The Voice. The news story sparked a memory for Bones.
Once he stayed at Shelton's place in Oklahoma and he recalled how normal they are together. They're very affectionate and genuinely like each other. While Bones and Shelton were hanging out at the house, Stefani left to get groceries and came back and everyone cooked. He said it was all very normal and not what you might expect from two superstars. Another grocery store story involves Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman. Bones was at Urban's house when Nicole FaceTimed him asking if he needed anything from the store. He recalled it being such a day in the life moment, yet they're both wildly famous.
At the end of the day, Bones wanted to remind everyone that they're absolutely human and do human things like everybody else. He says Nashville is a special city because everyone is normal like that here, meanwhile the celebrities in Los Angeles are a little different.
