Luke Combs revealed long-awaited details about his new studio record on Wednesday (January 7).

Combs will debut his new 22-track project, The Way I Am, on March 20. The country megastar’s album announcement arrives hand-in-hand with the release of “Sleepless in a Hotel Room,” a song he previously teased on social media. Combs said in a recorded message on Instagram, “I’m really glad you guys love that song. I’ve loved that song for a long time. I’m actually in a hotel room right now in New York doing press for this album. ...I’m really proud of this record. I really, really am. I’m proud of my whole team for working on this. (It’s) a long process, getting this thing going. Excited for you guys to hear it, obviously. Got a new baby on the way, pretty much due any day now, so (I’m getting) all this press done. Excited that this song is out, excited you guys love it so much. Again, new album. March 20. Love you guys. You’re gonna like it.”

“Sleepless in a Hotel Room” follows “Giving Her Away,” a sentimental song that serves as a letter from a groom to his father-in-law. Combs also released The Prequel, a 3-track collection — including “My Kinda Saturday Night,” “15 Minutes” and “Days Like These” — as he got ready to reveal details about his new studio album. He kicked off his The Way I Am chapter with “Back in the Saddle,” a full-throttle anthem that arrived over the summer.

Combs’ “My Kinda Saturday Night” inspired the name of his 2026 headlining tour, which kicks off in March, just after the album’s debut.
