Jordan Davis is feeling “all the emotions” as he and his wife, Kristen, await the arrival of their third child soon. The “Next Thing You Know” star shared that the parents-to-be are patiently waiting to see whether they’ll welcome another boy or another girl, and shared what he’s most excited about with another baby on the way.
“I think you’re kind of all the emotions – excited and scared, nervous,” Davis said, per his record label, of expecting Baby No. 3. “I think the thing I’m looking most forward to is there’s no love like a new baby, and so being able to hold – we don’t know what it is yet – so being able to hold him or her for the first time is always pretty special. It is crazy just the personalities that you see right off the bat, and it was such a difference between my son and daughter. You know, for me, it’s just exciting to get to see them who they’re going to become. We’re here to guide ‘em and love ‘em, but you want, it’s a fun ride to get to see them grow up.”
Davis and his wife, who tied the knot in 2017, announced earlier this year that their family is growing. Their third child joins big sister Eloise and big brother Locklan, born in 2019 and 2021, respectively. Davis shared that Eloise is old enough that she “knows what’s going on. She knows we’re getting a new baby, and I know she’s excited, so I’m ready to see her face when the baby comes home.”
“We pushed the limits once more. We got another one coming in June,” Davis previously said, per his record label. “I gotta figure out how to not have kids in the summer because I’m usually pretty busy. I don’t know what I was thinking then but, you know I’m so excited. There truly is no greater joy in the world than welcoming a baby, and we don’t know what it is. We’re gonna wait and find out, but (we’re) really excited come June to be bringing home a baby brother or a baby sister to Lock and Eloise. So far Kristen’s been great. Everything looks healthy, you know, we’re just continuing to pray for a safe delivery and looking forward to meeting the little fella or little girl here soon. I’m pumped.”
